Answer Writing Workshop was organised on October 9th ,10th and 14th 2025 by research cell, St Joseph’s College of law to enhance students’ examination preparedness and writing proficiency.

The primary objective of the workshop was to help first year and second year students of 5year & 3 Year LLB to understand the key aspects of effective answer presentation, time management, and structured writing techniques. The sessions focused on how to interpret questions correctly, organize content logically, and present answers clearly within the given time frame.

The sessions were facilitated by Prof Shoba, Dr Sneha Balraj, Prof Thomas Alexander Prof Swati, Prof Ivin, Prof Madhura & Prof Lincy who guided students through model answers, previous year question papers, and practical writing exercises for both Law & Pre-Law subjects. Sample answers were displayed and 20 minutes of hand written exercise were done in the class.

Over 200 Students actively participated and engaged in discussions, gaining practical insights into how to improve clarity, coherence, and depth in their exam answers. The workshop also provided strategies for handling long-answer questions and developing concise, well-organized responses.

Overall, the workshop received positive feedback from both students and faculty. Participants expressed that the sessions improved their confidence and understanding of evaluator expectations.
