“Reimagining the role of a Teacher in the 21st century”

The Internal quality assurance committee organized a faculty development programme titled “Reimagining the role of a Teacher in the 21st century” from 18.3.24 to 24.3.24. The programme had sessions by several notable figures from the academia who shared their insights and experience on various themes.

Ms. Pratibha M, Assistant professor, Department of Psychology, Christ (Deemed to be University), BYC, Bengaluru addressed faculty on the theme “Building resilience to face new and demanding situations”, Mr Royal D’Souza , Siona Solutions addressed a session on Building resilience to face new and demanding situations, Prof Alexander Cheriyan , St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru delivered a talk on Role of a teacher in Jesuit education , Dr. E Jerome Xavier, Principal,St Vincent Palloti College, Bengaluru , addressed a session on Teamwork and collaboration in teaching, Prof Kiran Jeevan, St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru delivered a session on Developing a healthy student and teacher relationship, Fr. Jerald D’Souza SJ , Director , St Joseph’s College of Law, Bengaluru addressed 2 sessions on Teacher as a Mentor. All the sessions were highly enriching for faculty members.
