LEGAL AWARENESS PROGRAM AT KARKALGATTA / ST JOSEPH’S SCHOOL

In the morning at 8:00 a.m., both the boys and girls, along with the faculty coordinators, gathered at CIRW for breakfast. To begin the survey in Karkalgatta, the student volunteers were again divided into six groups, with each group assigned one lane of the village. Using the survey forms provided by the college, the teams collected information from households. The survey included details such as house ownership, vehicles, legal issues, pending cases, and important identification documents like Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, E-Shram Card, Labour Card, BPL Card, Birth Certificate, and Death Certificate.

The survey was completed by 11:30 a.m., after which we visited the Sai Baba Temple. We also visited the field where most villagers worked. By 12:30 p.m., we returned to CIRW, where an evaluation meeting was held to review the surveys conducted. After the meeting, we had lunch.

Following lunch, we presented a vote of thanks to the representatives of CIRW Fr. Aravin, Mr. Vijay, Ms. Susheela and others for their support in coordinating our stay and helping us conduct the surveys. We also thanked Mr. Kishore for arranging meals during our stay in Anekal.
