The NSS committee of St. Joseph’s College of law, Bengaluru scheduled to organize an awareness campaign about the Fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution of India, at the Cash Pharmacy and F.M. Cariappa Road junctions on 2nd of March 2024. This initiative was chalked out to put into action the instructions of the Chief Minister of Karnataka, to raise awareness and educate the people of the city about their constitutional rights and duties in light of India celebrating 75 years of being republic.

A group of 25 students volunteered to participate in this drive that began at 9am. Accompanied by one of our faculty the students held handmade placards and stood at the aforesaid traffic junctions in an attempt to get the attention of the people and educate them. The traffic police stationed at the respective junction and a few passers-by took keen interest and interacted with the students. They took pictures and appreciated the efforts of the students.
