Movie Screening: Vidheyan on 4th January 2023 by the Film and documentary club

The Film and Documentary Committee of St. Joseph College of Law organized a movie screening of the critically acclaimed film "Vidheyan" on January 4th, 2023. The movie screening of "Vidheyan" began promptly at 1:30 PM in the designated auditorium. A total of 25 students participated in the event, including members of the Film and Documentary Committee and other interested individuals. The committee had carefully selected "Vidheyan," a renowned Indian film known for its deep social commentary and artistic brilliance.

Film Synopsis:
"Vidheyan" is a Malayalam-language film directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan. It tells the story of an oppressed man named Thommi, who is forced into servitude by a ruthless landlord. The film explores themes of power dynamics, exploitation, and the human spirit's resilience in the face of adversity.

Post-Screening Discussion:
Following the movie, an engaging discussion session was held. Students enthusiastically shared their impressions, opinions, and interpretations of the film. The committee facilitated the discussion, encouraging participants to delve into the film's various aspects.
