AICUF 06th National Convention & Centenary Celebrations

The 06th National Convention from 16-18 May 2025 brought together AICUF members nationwide to reflect, celebrate, and plan for a transformative future. The primary objectives of the convention were to:

• Reflect on AICUF's history and impact.

• Celebrate the diversity and unity within the AICUF community.

• Engage in critical discussions on relevant social issues.

• Inspire and empower youth for social action.

• Plan future strategies and initiatives for the movement.

The official program began with a procession and welcome dances, a welcome address, and a felicitation program. Later, there was an icebreaker, a panel discussion, and a historical overview of AICUF, a cultural evening featuring an inter-religious prayer, a welcome song, and tribal cultural presentations, celebrating unity in diversity. The second day commenced with a holy mass and a session by Derek O’Brien and the next session was led by Mr. Henry Tiphagne, involving a discussion on constitutional amendments prepared by the students. Day 3 commenced with a vibrant ramp walk to highlight India's rich indigenous heritage, and a subsequent session emphasized tribal identity and its importance.

The day featured motivational talks by several key speakers and concluded with state-wise future planning sessions, followed by a plenary session. Dr. Felix Raj SJ delivered the valedictory address, officially marking the closing of the Centenary Year celebrations.
