Global legal education, comparative research and meaningful international partnerships.
The International Collaborations Desk is SJCL's official gateway to the world, reflecting the College's commitment to global legal education, comparative research and meaningful international partnerships. We warmly welcome law schools, research centres and faculty from around the world to work with us in creating transformative academic opportunities.
The Desk drives SJCL's internationalisation and brings partnerships to life through dedicated administrative, academic and strategic support. It serves as a single, responsive point of contact for all partner institutions.
The Desk coordinates Memoranda of Understanding, student and faculty mobility, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) modules, visiting scholars and joint research.
The Desk connects external partners directly with SJCL's academic departments and leadership.
We envision a globally connected legal community in which students and faculty engage with diverse legal systems, transnational law and global perspectives. Our work rests on four pillars:
Expanding students' horizons through study abroad, exchanges and interactive virtual classrooms.
Fostering comparative legal scholarship across institutions and co-authored global publications.
Encouraging co-teaching, international guest lectures and faculty exchange residencies.
Building sustainable, long-term relationships rooted in mutual academic growth.
SJCL has steadily built connections with universities and institutions abroad through seminars, webinars, conferences and higher-education guidance for students.
