CONSTI Q

The Constitution Club of St. Joseph’s College of Law successfully organized CONSTI Q on the topic “Samvidhana,” an inter-school constitutional awareness and activity-based programme, on 6th December 2025. The initiative aimed at deepening students’ understanding of the Indian Constitution through interactive competitions, thereby fostering constitutional values among young learners

The registrations commenced at 9:30 AM at the auditorium entrance. Multiple registration desks were set up and student coordinators facilitated a smooth verification process. Upon registration, all participants received:

● Exam pads
● Pencil pouches
● Caps
● Event ID cards

Following the registration, breakfast was served to all the student participants and accompanying faculty.

The programme consisted of three major competitions conducted simultaneously across different venues on the campus:

a) Quiz Competition – Auditorium
An intellectually stimulating quiz centered on constitutional knowledge was conducted for the participating teams. Multiple preliminary and oral rounds were organized, designed to assess awareness of constitutional history, principles, and governance.

b) Elocution Competition – Conference Hall
The elocution event provided a platform for students to express their views on themes related to the Indian Constitution. Participants delivered speeches in Kannada showcasing their oratory skills, critical thinking, and understanding of constitutional ideals.

c) Drawing Competition – AV Room
The drawing event enabled students to creatively depict constitutional themes. The college provided all necessary materials including:

● Chart paper
● Sketches
● Colour sets
Students visually represented ideas related to constitutional rights, duties, and national unity.

Valedictory Function
After the completion of all competitions, a valedictory ceremony was held in the auditorium. The programme included:
● Welcome note
● Address by Director
● Announcement of results
● Prize distribution to the winners of all events
● Vote of thanks
The ceremony acknowledged the efforts of all participants, coordinators, and faculty for the success of the event.

Lunch
Following the valedictory function, lunch was served to all participating students, teachers, and volunteers. Hospitality arrangements were handled efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant conclusion to the event.

Coordination and Support
The event was efficiently coordinated by the faculty and student organizers of the Constitution Club. Volunteers ensured proper movement of participants between venues, maintained discipline, and facilitated hospitality arrangements. The smooth execution of all activities demonstrated strong teamwork and planning.

Outcome:
CONSTI Q proved to be an enriching and meaningful event for all participants. It enhanced constitutional literacy, encouraged civic engagement, and provided a platform for students to showcase their talents through academic and creative expressions. The programme successfully met its objective of fostering interest, awareness, and respect for the Constitution of India among young learners.
