In continuation of the commitment of the AICUF to the understandings of the MoU with the BIRDS, the AICUF concerted their efforts to reach out to the marginalized children in the migrant settlements by providing them with educational aid financially by funding the salary of the teacher employed and tangibly and personally by interested AICUFER’s taking turns to take classes at the tuition centers. The tuition classes were coordinated by students; Sanjana and Sandra, who ensured the intimation and allocation of the student volunteers to the classes on every Thursday and Friday of the week at the tuition centers of Narayanapura and Naganahalli. The respective student volunteers have taken classes at the tuition center during the tenure of three months continuously in collaboration with the BIRDS staff on ground. The tuition aid concluded for the semester when the students commenced their Christmas holidays and exam preparation thereafter.
