The Intra College Debate Competition took place on the 5th, 7th and 12th of November 2024, for its Preliminary, Knockouts and Final rounds, respectively.

The Preliminary Rounds, began on 5th November 2024 witnessing an intense round of debates and deliberations, while in presence of the faculty as the judges for this round.

The Knockout Rounds, on 7th Nov 2024, was divided into 2 rounds, the Quarters and Semi-Finals following the same procedure as the preliminary round with each round having its own topic.

The inaugural ceremony for the quarter finals and semifinals were done with the judges for the same, namely, Dr Anusuya Paul, Mr. Suhas Kashyap, Mr. Linto Anthony and Ms. Neha Gaikwad, Mr Jenin Raj and Dr Shreejitha Biswas. 2 teams successfully advanced into the finals.

The Final Round took place in the SJCL Auditorium after a beautiful dance performance and a grand Inaugural ceremony.

The Winning Team of this year’s Intra College Debate Competition 2024 was formed by Ninad Umesh, Rishu Nanjappa and Harlton Joseph and the Runner-Up Team was formed by Mohammed Yasir Arfath, Meera Ramaswamy and Ramasheshan.

The event ended with an address given by the Director, Principal, Faculty Coordinator and by our esteemed Judge, Dr Arul Mani, followed by a formal Vote of Thanks from the Student Coordinators.
