The Justice Definition Project in Collaboration with Daksh

JDC (Judicial Data Collective) was organized in collaboration with Daksh India and was carried out over a fortnight, namely on March 15th and March 28th. Students from across all streams of law joined together and worked towards the project to ensure accessibility of legal definitions and knowledge. The teams worked within the ambit of Intellectual Property and worked on definitions regarding artistic works, authorship, broadcasting, trademarks, claims, etc.

The event aimed to enhance the accessibility of legal knowledge by simplifying and compiling key legal definitions, particularly within the domain of Intellectual Property.

Ultimately, the event strengthened the collaboration between academic institutions and legal think tanks to support meaningful legal reform. The valedictory was held on April 4th, 2025. The Judicial Data Collaborative enabled students to bridge academic learning with practical legal research, enhancing access to complex legal concepts.
