A 3 -day orientation program was held for the incoming students of the 2025-26 batch from 28th July to 30th July, 2025.

Day 1 was attended both by parents and students. The program began with lighting of the lamp and an inter-religious prayer. After a formal welcome by the Principal, Dr. Pauline Priya, the Director Fr Jerald D Souza introduced the audience to the rigours of legal education at SJCL and also introduced the teaching and non-teaching faculty to the incoming batch. The Rector of BJES institutions, Fr Dr Daniel Fernandes SJ addressed the audience about the values of Jesuit Education. After a short break, the audience assembled back for a campus briefing by the Principal and the day ended with a session on Mental health by the college counsellor, Ms. Priscilla.

Day 2 began with an interreligious prayer and an interactive session with the alumni of SJCL. Ms. Shazia, Mr. Christopher, Mr. Rohan briefed the audience about journey of a law student at SJCL, rigours of law and various career options in the field of law. After break, students were involved by faculty in group dynamics and ice breaker sessions. The 3-day session ended on Day 3 with Presentations on various committee activities by the respective faculty coordinators and a Meet the Mentor session where the students interacted with their respective class mentors for a detailed briefing on the course and for bracing themselves for the upcoming academic session.
