The workshop on “Trademark Registration Policy” for the students of LLM course who are specializing in the field of Intellectual Property Rights branch was a success.

Mr. Sumeet Sirohi – a trademark and copyright attorney and a lawyer certified by the Federation of Law Society of Canada, first introduced the basic concepts of trademark and different types of marks and then took the students through the trademark registration portal and, practically, explained how a trademark application can be submitted online. He also showed the various forms and their use. It was a hands-on workshop and the students were given a practical exposure to the trademark registration process. This was followed by an interactive session with the resource person. and set the tone for the workshop.
